Vintage 1940s designer costume jewelry. Unique mid-century butterfly pin and earrings set. Pieces contain gorgeous inlaid abalone in sterling silver settings.
Pin measures 1-1/2 inches tall x 1-3/4 inches wide. Earrings measure 7/8-inch tall x 3/4-inch wide and have screw back closures. Earrings are marked sterling 925 RLS (a listed silversmith in The Little Book of Mexican Silver by Billie Hougart). Pin is marked sterling 925 cuermor and various other marks. Set was made sometime in the 1940s.
Set has flawless design work and workmanship with high-end quality. In mint condition with nothing missing, damaged or broken. There is no wear to the settings. Stunning birthday, anniversary, or special occasion gift selection.
