Wonderful vintage retro wingback earrings. Pieces contain sparkling dark topaz rhinestones in gold toned settings.
Earrings measure 1-inch tall x 1-inch wide and have left and right markings. Signed Judith McCann (Patent Number 2424382) and manufactured during the 1940s.

Wearing instructions for wingback earrings are as follows. The stem and the wing ("Y" part) should not be engaged. The wing slips over the narrowest part of the ear edge in front while the stem stays behind the ear.
